Coronary aneurysms in a patient with bypass grafts.

چکیده
performed to assess the extent of the lesion, the coronary grafts were seen to be patent and 2 aneurysms were visualized in the RCA. The first was in the proximal RCA (described on echocardiography) and the other, in the medial RC, was 17×22 mm in diameter and partially thrombosed (Figures 3A and 3C, arrowheads). In addition, there was a third aneurysm located in the proximal segment of the left anterior descending artery, somewhat smaller and totally thrombosed (Figure 3B, arrow). Conservative management was decided considering the absence of symptoms and the patient’s comorbid conditions.

Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) in the presence of coronary aneurysms.
This is the case of a patient with coronary aneurysms, who underwent CABG for surgical exclusion of these aneurysms, followed by implant of the bypass grafts to the arteries affected, with satisfactory short-term and long-term results.

Background: There are some conflicting results with Conventional Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts (CCABG) with arrested heart in coronary high-risk patients. Moreover, performing off-pump CABG in these cases may be associated with serious complications. The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of the on-pump beating CABG (OPBCABG) in coronary high-risk patients in comparison with th...

Aneurysms of aortocoronary saphenous vein bypass grafts are a rare complication of coronary artery bypass grafts. The authors report the incidental finding of four aneurysms in two aortocoronary saphenous vein bypass grafts in a 77-year-old man with progressive generalized weakness, left facial drooping, and digitalis toxicity. A brief review of the literature on this rare condition is also pro...

A61-year-old man with a history of coronary artery aneurysms was referred to our institution for evaluation of dyspnea on exertion. Coronary artery bypass of the aneurysms had been performed 2 years earlier. Although it was reported that the aneurysms had been ligated, coronary angiography revealed large residual aneurysms of the right and left circumflex arteries (top left, Figures 1 and 2), w...

In recent years off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery (OPCAB) has emerged as preferred method for revascularization of coronary arteries in relatively selected group of patients. Considering patients receiving incomplete revascularization need significantly higher postoperative catheterization and re-intervention (PTCA or CABG), we performed this study to identify safety and feasibility of th...
